  4. Return Product Quality Check (QC)
    • Upon receiving the package, our team will conduct a Quality Check (QC):
      • If the QC is passed, we will process the refund along with the courier charges paid by you.
      • If the QC fails, we will notify you, and you will need to process a claim with your chosen courier partner.

Refund Processing:

  • Upon receiving the returned product at our facility and verifying its condition through our quality inspection team, Motiwala Jewels will initiate the refund process.
  • The refund amount will be processed to the original payment account used for the purchase within 15 business days from the date of receiving the product.
  • Please note:
    • Refunds cannot be processed to any other bank account.
    • Customized jewelry cannot be replaced.
    • Jewelry damaged due to mishandling is only eligible for repairs, and no cash refunds will be provided.

At Motiwala Jewels Gold and Diamonds Pvt Ltd, we offer a buyback policy for Gold Jewellery, purchased from Motiwala Jewels Store and purchases made through our official website (www.motiwalajewels.com).

  • The buyback policy is applicable for Gold Jewellery, & Diamond Jewellery after 7 days from the date of purchase.

Buyback Rates:

  • Gold Jewellery: 94% of the benchmark gold rate.
  • Diamond Jewellery: 94% of the benchmark gold rate and 90% of the prevailing diamond carat rate of the day, after deducting the discount given at the time of purchase.
  • Era or Uncut Jewellery: 94% of the benchmark gold rate and 80% of the invoice value of uncut diamonds, after deducting the discount at the time of purchase.
  • Precia or Precious Stone Jewellery (Ruby, Emerald, Sapphire): 94% of the benchmark gold rate and 70% of the invoice value of precious stones, after deducting the discount at the time of purchase.
  • Solitaire Diamond Studded Jewellery: No Return & No Buy Back Policy Available.
  • Platinum Jewellery: No Return & No Buy Back Policy Available.

To sell gold, the customer must provide any of the following identity proofs:

  • (b) Pan Card
  • (c) Passport

Fair Value Assessment

Our buyback policy is designed to provide fair value for your Gold Jewellery and Diamond Jewellery.

Prevailing Price = Gross price less the % discount offered during purchase.

Approval and Evaluation:

  • All Buyback items will undergo a quality check by our quality department or a certified laboratory as required, which may take up to 4 working days.
  • Motiwala Jewels reserves the right to calculate the buyback amount based on the final evaluation, considering factors such as condition, quality, and market value.
  • Payments for buyback will be made only via account payee cheque or RTGS/NEFT, processed in the customer's name as per the invoice, which may take 7-10 Working days.

Important Notes:

  • The buyback policy may vary for specific products or during promotional periods.

All products, including Jewellery and gold coins, are insured during transit. Orders are dispatched in tamper-proof packaging, ensuring they reach your doorstep in perfect condition.

Our trusted courier partners include BVC Logistics Pvt Ltd. Customers will receive the AWB (Airway Bill) tracking number once the order is shipped. The selection of the courier partner is based on service availability at the shipping location.

We offer FREE shipping across India on all orders, using reliable courier services.

Delivery to Authorized Recipient

For a smooth delivery process, customers must provide the accurate details of the recipient, including:

  • Full Name (as per Pan Card)
  • Complete Address with Pin Code
  • Nearby Landmark
  • Contact Number & Alternet Contact Number

Identity Verification at Delivery:
The recipient must provide original copies of any of the following government-issued photo IDs:

  • PAN Card
  • Aadhaar Card
  • Passport

Our courier partner will verify these details at the time of delivery. The cooperation of the recipient is appreciated during this process.

Delivery Location

  • Deliveries will only be made to residential addresses, workplaces, or nearby Motiwala Jewels outlets.
  • Public places such as malls, hotels, hostels, or streets are not eligible for deliveries.
  • If the recipient is unavailable, the courier company will attempt delivery three more times. If still unreachable, the order will be returned to Motiwala Jewels' facility.

Change in Shipping Address

Note: Changes cannot be made once the order has been dispatched.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation by Motiwala Jewels

We reserve the right to cancel any order in the event of a discrepancy. Common causes for cancellation include, but are not limited to:

  • Incomplete customer information or unsuccessful verification
  • Suspicious or fraudulent activities
  • Natural calamities or unforeseen circumstances

Ready-to-Ship Orders

Customers can cancel a ready-to-ship order before it is shipped. If a cancellation request is received for such an order, we will refund the amount using the original payment method within 10 business days.

Please note:

  • A pre-dispatch cancellation fee of 2% will be applied. The remaining 98% will be credited back to the customer's account (to the same source from which payment was made).
  • Gold Coins, Bars, Solitaire Jewellery orders cannot be cancelled under any circumstances.

Make-to-Order Products

Custom-made, personalized, or customized jewelry items undergo a specialized manufacturing process and are created only upon customer orders.

  • Cancellation within 2 days: Full refund to the customer's account (to the same source of payment) as per our refund policy.
  • Cancellation after 2 days: Refund will be processed after deducting the making charges and stone charges associated with the canceled jewelry. The remaining amount will be refunded within 15 business days or can be adjusted towards an exchanged product.

Failed Transactions

In the case of a failed transaction where the amount has been debited from the customer's account, it will be refunded within 12 hours by the respective payment gateway used. If Not Received Refund Amount Contact your Bank.
